If I could rate this company lower than 1 star, I would. Avoid RS Concrete Solutions and its owner, Brandon Ridsdale.
My neighbour and I both had our driveways done by Brandon and RS Concrete Solutions. Within days, we started noticing issues. Brandon assured us it was “normal.” Fast forward five months—both driveways are completely falling apart.
When we raised our concerns, Brandon’s responses shifted from “we don’t know what happened” to blaming us—saying we used a pressure washer or salt (we did neither). He even brought in a so-called “third-party” contractor to assess the problem—who turned out to be a friend of his. Unsurprisingly, no resolution was offered.
Brandon has blamed everyone but himself: the supplier, the weather—anyone he can point a finger at. We’ve had multiple independent contractors (who Brandon said “would be happy to tell us how we didn’t do it right and how they could do it better) inspect the driveways, and every single one confirmed the same thing: they were poured incorrectly (too wet), and the fault lies entirely with RS Concrete Solutions.
Together, my neighbour and I spent over $30,000, and now both driveways need to be ripped out and replaced. I deeply regret hiring this company. I should have taken it as a red flag that they aren’t BBB accredited.
I’m in the process of filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and other consumer advocacy platforms, and will be pursuing legal action.
